Who we are (data controller)

The data controller responsible for personal data processed through this Site is Guardino Technologies LLC, registered in the State of Wyoming, United States of America under file no. 2026-001882554, operating from Istanbul, Türkiye.

What we collect on this Site

Contact data you submit voluntarily through our contact form: your name, email address, and optionally your company, country, intended use case and the content of your message.

Consent state: a single value stored in your browser's local storage ("cookie-consent") recording whether you accepted or declined our cookie notice. This stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Server-side request data: like any web server, our host (Hostinger) and our CDN (Cloudflare) automatically process technical connection data such as IP address, user-agent and timestamps to deliver the Site, defend against attacks and keep aggregate, non-identifying traffic statistics. We do not build profiles from this data.

What we do not collect

We do not run advertising trackers, third-party analytics, session-recording tools, social-media pixels or fingerprinting scripts on this Site.

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with data brokers or advertisers — ever.

This corporate Site has no user accounts, no payment processing and no DNS-query logging. Those activities belong to the product and are described in the product privacy policy.

How the contact form works

The contact form on this Site does not transmit data to a server in the background. When you submit it, your browser opens your own email client with the fields pre-filled, addressed to [email protected]. You remain in control and choose whether to send the message.

Once you send an email to us, we process it to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract.

Why we process data and our legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)

To respond to enquiries you send us — legal basis: your consent and/or steps taken at your request prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(a)/(b) GDPR).

To operate, secure and maintain the Site, prevent abuse and ensure availability — legal basis: our legitimate interests in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

To comply with legal obligations to which we are subject — legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.

Cookies and local storage

This Site uses only strictly necessary browser storage: the "cookie-consent" value described above. It is exempt from consent under the ePrivacy Directive because it is required to honour your own choice.

Fonts are self-hosted; we do not load fonts, scripts or styles from third-party content delivery networks that would expose your IP address to those providers.

Who we share data with (processors)

Hostinger — website hosting (United States / EU infrastructure).

Cloudflare — content delivery, DNS and DDoS protection.

We do not transfer your contact data to any other third party except where required by law. A current list is maintained in our Sub-processors page.

International transfers

Because Guardino is a United States entity operating from Türkiye, personal data you send us may be processed in the United States, the European Union and Türkiye.

Where data is transferred out of the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or your explicit consent where applicable.

How long we keep data

Enquiry correspondence: kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, then deleted, unless a longer period is required by law.

The "cookie-consent" value persists in your browser until you clear it or withdraw consent.

Your rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

To exercise any right, contact [email protected]. We respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA.

California residents have the right to know, delete, correct and to non-discrimination for exercising their rights. We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out of sale/share.

Turkish users (KVKK)

If you are in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") applies. Guardino Technologies LLC acts as the data controller (veri sorumlusu) and processes your data on the legal grounds in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK — principally your explicit consent and the establishment or performance of a contract.

Your rights under Article 11 of the KVKK — to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to learn the purpose of processing, and to request correction, deletion or destruction — apply identically to the rights listed above.

Cross-border transfer: by contacting us you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and the European Union by us and our processors. We rely on KVKK Article 9 where explicit consent is required. Requests in Turkish or English to [email protected] are answered within 30 days.

Children's data

This Site is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16 (or under 13 where COPPA applies). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The "Effective" date above always shows the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
